Install Wizard Dead End with Custom Setup

I am an ex-Lotus Notes 5.x developer from a former employer. I am attempting to introduce my current employer to the advantages of using Notes as a KB and workflow solution. I used the following URL to download a trial version of Lotus Notes 6.5.1.

http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/preconfig.jsp?id=2004-06-02+10%3A49%3A24.277556R&S_TACT=104AH%20W42&S_CMP=&s=

While running the install wizard, I am presented with a “Custom Setup” dialog box. I can freely choose my feature options however there are no buttons to click for “Next” or “Finish” . . . no buttons at all! Only choice is the standard “X” in the upper right corner. I’ve looked for other covered-up windows. None found. How do I continue the install process?

I can xmit screen shots, if needed.

I’ve also tried downloading and installing other older version of Trial versions of Notes from the same web site area. Same issue.

I’ve contacted webmaster@notes.net, but they are not set up for customer service issues such as this. He/She suggested I post to this forum.

Any suggestions?

Take a look at the LotusInstall.log in the My Documents directory. It might contain some information about what’s going wrong. It almost sounds like something is wrong with the version of Windows Installer service on your machine

Did you choose any features? Does the button light up then?

Have you attemted the standard (non Custom) install?
