I’ve been several hours trying to find a link to download the install shield tuner but I just can’t seem to find it. I have an advantage user ID on the IBM website and although several tech notes refer me there I can’t find it. Could someone please give me the direct link to the download or maybe you know of another place to obtain this file?

on a cd that came with your install media.

For the last couple of years now IBM have not, and refuse, to send media to Passport Advantage customers. I made a specific request to our UK rep earlier this year and was informed that they CANNOT send out CDs for Domino.

Subject: I don’t know about the UK
but in the USA I get CD’s every time I request them through passport advantage. If they refuse then go up the food chain until someone can explain why they won’t deliver them. Heck they’re made in and shipped from Ireland and that’s a lot closer to the UK than the USA (meaning a lower delivery charge/cost).

…is purely Domino or Notes. I have also noticed that the Tivoli software is not inside the Notes package but should be available when you have the Admin Client installed.

"When you download the CD you can download what’s called an Image and one of the files in this image should be the installshield tuner.
Alternatively, search for it by part number which is C84T5NA"
However, I cannot see an option to Download an ISO image, there is only an Install file in the download eg C18XPEN.exe A search on the part No. only returns the Domino/Notes exe downloads,

Would it be possible for someone who has the file to maybe compress it and send it to me by e-mail since I just can’t seem to find this blessed installshield tuner. I have been assigned with the deployment of notes 8 and can’t even start the process without installshield.
I’d really appreciate anyone sending me the file.

…has sent me an image showing the file available through PA. but it is only the 6.0-6.5 version (and I can’t find even that! I will persue this as I will need it in the future. Check back later.

violate the terms of the license agreement. And it would be similar to stealing a pirated copy of the software. If you have PA and software maintenance agreement then you should be able to call Lotus Support and speak to someone about getting a CD with InstallShield, which would most likely be delivered within two business days.

…Gerald, in Europe we are not allowed CDs. Mad as it seems, it is true. To be honest, I am alittle annoyed withIBM if they still provide Cds to US users. I have installed R* servers from a download, but this is only an exe, not an ISO image from which I could extract the Tuner. I will pursue the matter with IBM next week as I am away tomorrow,

OK, go to your PartnerWorld download page and select the radio button for eAssembly and search for either this part number CR4DOEN or search for Domino Enterprise Server. Look for this description:IBM Lotus Domino Enterprise Server and Notes 7.0.2 for Multiplatforms eAssembly English (CR4DOEN). Click the Plus sign to open the eAssembly. Scroll to the bottom and you will see the tuner - part number C84T5NA. Described as:
Install Shield Tuner for Lotus Notes 7.0.x and 8.0.x for Windows 2000, 2003 English (C84T5NA)
