Dear All,
i’m trying to install Domino 6.0.1 in RedHat linux 7.2 in vmware 3.2.0
when i want to run the server setup program
have error messages:
$ /opt/lotus/bin/http httpsetup
./java -ss512k -Xoss5M -cp jhall.jar:cfgdomserver.jar:Notes.jar lotus.domino.setup.WizardMangerDomino -data /local/notesdata
Please edit your shell’s DISPLAY environment variable to reflect an unlocked terminal that you would like to launch the Domino Setup Program on.
Subject: install domino 6.0.1 in redhat 7.2 error
i change redhat 8.0 and kernel is 2.4.18-18.8.0
use root user to install
use notes user to setup
have new message:
$ /opt/lotus/bin/http httpdsetup
03/24/2003 19:34:58 HTTP Server: Could not open the ID file
03/24/2003 19:34:58 HTTP Server: Shutdown
please help me

You don’t use httpsetup any more. Just run /bin/server and the setup program will launch automatically.
