Install/Configuration Problem

I have a fresh installation of Notes 6.0.1 on a fresh Windows Xp Pro workstation.

When I launch Notes for the first time, the splash comes up, then a window forms. After a couple of seconds, the hard drive stops and the window goes blank and recieves a “Not Responding” status.

I have gotten this on two different computers using two separate versions of the XP OS.

I have used the installation material on other computers in the past and not had problems. This software was downloaded from the Partner site.

Any help that is provided will be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the same logon name as previously, and does it (or the one you’re using instead) have Administrator privileges on that machine?

Not sure that this is causing your problem, but access rights are known to cause some odd problems on XP>

unfortunately, it is not that easy. I am loggin in to the machine as the domain administrator.

I’m having exactly the same problem, same issue occurs with either 6.0.1 or 6.0.2.cf1. Splash screen then nothing. (If you click on the splash screen the task disappears in Task Manager.)
