I can no longer find the option to put in the formula for my subform in my main form. Is it this option need to put in when insert the subform in the first place?
Is the subform insert by formula always available or only available when one first create the document? I have the field status, deafult value is actual. However, the subform will not be inserted when I created new document, my formula is status=“Actual”, at the programming pane.
I suspect when document just created, it have not loaded the default value, so status is “”, that is probably why the subform not loaded.

On the form Create/Resource/Subform then select insert using formula. It is always there. The formula is also there so that you can create a computed Subform on a Subform.

What I meant was that if I did not click “formula” when I inserted in the first place, than can I later click it again, to insert the relevant formula?

If you have inserted a subform onto a form and then want to make it a computed subform. Then remove the subform from the for (click on it and press delete, or right click on it and select delete - think it says Remove). Then add the subform using a formula. I don’t know of a way to change a subform from an inserted subform to an inserted subform via formula. I would guess that it might be possible to do this by writting some C++ or Java code and making API calls, but … why?
