Input Translation not working

I have an input translation field that is not working. Field is a Names field, with multi-values allowed with lookup via Address Book.

Input Translation formulation is:

@Name([Canonicalize];Config_DeptExceptions150)

Names are coming back as:

Stuart R Siegel/WindsorLocks/Ahlstrom

why isn’t it in Canonical format?

If you save the document and look at the field in the document properties, it will be!

The purpose of a names field is to display canonical names in abbreviated format.

Change the field to a text field and then see what you get :wink:
