Trying to use iNotes / Web Access on Domino 6.5.1 on Windows 2003 and when I first set up a couple users for Web Access, the outgoing internet email address from the Person Document was being used, but suddenly this quit working and now all outbound emails when using the web browser are getting tagged with the Domino heirarchical address on the “From:” field instead of the correct internet address from the person documents. Of course, this makes for emails that can never be replied to over the Internet. Anybody know what’s going on with this and how to fix it? I’ve searched the forum archives and found nothing helpful, except a lot of other folks experiencing the same exact problem.

I have users with the same exact problem, Mail template 5.0.11 and server 6.0.2 CF2. We have created a incident with IBM and they are able to duplicate the problem. Probably will get a fix for the same shortly.

Have you turned on in the configuration document MIME-COnversion Options - Outbound
Lookup Internet address to Enabled.

I am using iNotes version 6.3.0 and I have the field “Lookup Internet address” enabled. Didn’t do a thing for me. In fact I have this same problem for the last 2 years and was never resolved. But strangely if you enable the field “SMTP used when sending messages outside of the local internet domain:” .It will correctly format the internet address in iNotes.
But I still cannot find out how to do it without SMTP enable.
