iNotes/Web user and changing name/details using adminp or wizard

iNotes keeps coming up with surprises for me… (sigh).Dont get me wrong, I love it and the new 602 template, but I have 2 big issues!

Issue 1.

I have created 100+ iNotes accounts and want the users to be able to send encrypted mail, so I kept a copy of the id file in their mail file (everything is peachy there!).

I want to rename a user and according to the admin help, the rename web user wizard will appear. But because I have an id file for this WEB user, the standard rename screen appears. I cannot rename users now (unless I switch to their id files each time and accept name change etc…) This is unacceptable. Does anyone have suggestions.

Issue 2

Clustered iNotes servers (I am waiting for IBM to come back to me on this one) front ended with Cisco router. Works a charm except for (you guessed it) unread marks. Again, this is unacceptable to the customer.

Does anyone have any suggestions on these issues.

I’d heard that that feature (rename for iNotes) would be in either 6.0.2 or 6.5… Haven’t heard anything else thought.

For me, I’ve taken to creating a new user for users requesting name changes and do a copy of thier DOCs and the encrypted password.

It’s a pain in the #&#&# workaround but it’s keep me from getting calls when the incomplete name change reverts to the original.
