iNotes (Web Mail) and Rich Text applet

I tried searching the forum but could not find anything recent. We are running 6.5.5 on Win 2000 and using iNotes template (no changes) with the ability for users to get their mail via the Web. All of a sudden - when my users do a new email messages - the rich text function appears and then disappears on the screen immediately and they can not do any rich text formating. If they create a new calendar - the rich text formating is there. No changes in the iNotes template, upgraded my server to 6.5.5 and have all the Win “fixes” from microsoft. Also allowing ActiveX. And still having the problems. Any ideas ?

Check their iNotes preferences, see that Editor is selected, Rich Text or Plain Text

I can’t find any preferences in iNotes on the Web that would change to rich text. I found one in the actual Notes client to change to alternative memo editor. But nothing on the Web side Where do I look ? Thanks!
