Does anyone know if the Domino Web Access portlet that ships with Websphere will work with any J2EE app - or is it Websphere specific?

Nevermind. I found the answer. The iNotes portlet implements IBM’s proprietary portlet API and will therefore only work with Websphere portal.

Yes, but you could fairly easily build your own portlet for some other J2EE server and integrate in Domino Web Access functionality by reading Chapter 5.2 of the Domino Web Access (iNotes Web Access) redbook.
