Hi, I get this friendly message on just one XP Laptop and can’t find any reason for it. After a year of working fine, it just stopped working. No upgrades on server end and nothing that I know of on the client side.
Works fine from all other machines.
Not much info to go on really, when I open any iNotes mail file from this particular machine, it fails wioth about 20-30 of these dialog boxes with the below text.
Any ideas ?
“iNotes Warning. Sorry, we were unable to process your request at this time. If you are unable to continue working in your mail file, please dismiss this warning and then select View, Refresh from your browser’s menu.”

Did a service pack or hotfix go on recently? Have you tried adding the website to your Trusted Sites Zone in your browser. I am assuming your using IE. If it already entered into your Trusted sites zone try and reset the zone back to “LOW” for its settings. This has done the trick for me in the past.

I have seen it happening for several users of mine in the last few weeks. And as well have quite some people posted the same question here; I am wondering if the problem has come after MS have put a patch on the site for e.g. the browser. !?
Anyway. As said, I have some cases found that the problem got solved when removing the Google Bar from the browser (of course this breaks above regarding the patch…). Check if the user has such a plugin for IE and try to remove it.

I tried all sorts of things and have no ideas, removed all cached objects, changed trust etc etc.
Finally I gave up and upgraded the servers to 6.5.4, strange thing is that the problem has gone away in IE, and I now get the same issue in Firefox, but not upon login, I get the dialog when i just single click on any entry in the view.
Wierd !
Seems like Firefox (1.0 and 1.0.3) isn’t playing 100% anyway (on other machines too), Netscape seems fine but Firefox doesn’t seem to close down the connections in a timely manner, maybe they are getting reset.

According to the post referenced below, there’s a Firefox bug in 1.0.3 that’s fixed in 1.0.4. I’m using Firefox against a 6.5.4 iNotes db without a problem.
