Hi Domino Experts,Hope someone would help me to resolve my problem.

I have made new replica of all the mail database to new server and now want to change the templates to INOTES in the new server, but the templates on the original server is M6, I want to maintain M6 templates on the original server and INOTES templates on the new server, But the replication should occurs without changing the templates.

Hope you guys understand my issue and expecting someone to give suggesstion.

Even if you update the design it will NOT interfere with the Client Interface, if that is your concern.

Hi Bagurudeen

You can do that by changing following setting :

  1. select any notes database (nsf)

  2. press right arrow of mouse

  3. select properties tab

  4. select replication setting tab

  5. select advance tab

  6. There will a tick mark on Design elements tab

    deselect that

Now when replicaton will happen it will not change design of database

This you have to do on all the database, by selecting all database through CTRL A you can do that in one time

You mean, do i have to set the on the master server or on the new server? If i do the on the master server, it will not replicate the design elements in any of the servers, right? because the databases are available not only on the new servers, it is also available on different servers. how can i set so that the replication should occurs with design elements on the servers and only the design elements shoud not replicate with the new server.
