Inotes SSL not working after upgrade

Hello,

Domino 6.02CF1 to 6.5. IIS not running on W2K server. All OS updates except for SP4. Browser IE 6.0.2 with all the latest and greatest.

inotes issue:

Can access inotes when not using SSL. When access inotes using SSL, I authenticate and am redirected to my mail file. Client attempts to load the page, but only downloads a few images and then stops. Getting the “haiku”, “Object expected” and “h_clientybrowser” errors from IE.

This happens for all users w/ inotes access and IE 6.x.

I looked through the KB and contacted Lotus support. Both suggested to verify the ACL for Anonymous and Default access which I have. No issues there.

Worked before the Domino upgrade. Works w/ Netscape and Mozilla. I have been waiting a few days for Lotus to get back to me w/ no avail. Anybody out there have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Matt

Subject: Temp fix

Seems this issue is related to IE and enabling the option: under Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Do not save encrypted pages to disk

When selected inotes does not load correctly. Lotus support has reproduced this issue and is escalating/creating an SPR…

Very interesting stuff

Subject: inotes SSL not working after upgrade - work around

I found that replacing the mail file design with the R6.0 template rather than the R6 template fixed the problem.

This is not the ideal solution.
