I’ve been using iNotes 6.5 for weeks now but suddenly the Send button won’t work. The usual small confirmation window pops up but it is empty, so no way to continue to send (or send and save) process. The Send and File button works fine, but that can be a pain. Nothing on the server changed, and it’s happening on more than one computer. Nothing changed on those computers either (both on XP running IE6). One of them is now giving the “Domino Web Access Warning. Sorry, we are unable to process your request…” message now, too - then the small empty window shows up. Any ideas?? I don’t even know where to start troubleshooting this.
Subject: INotes is now unusable! (was “iNotes Send problem”)
We have also experienced problems with Inotes web access since a couple of weeks. With Windows XP and all latest updates to Internet Explorer, it’s completely unusable. On the server side, nothing’s changed.
On my Windows XP Sp1 machine (fully updated) with Internet explorer v6.0.2600 I get this error message about 10-20 times when I open my mailbox:
I believe that this started appearing with some security update from Windows Update, but I am not sure…
Surprisingly, there’s not that many complaints in this forum about this problem, so either:
- Nobody’s using Inotes Web Access
or
2 It is related to some combination of localisation/country setting.
In order to exclude server problems, I created an account on the Lotus Showcase http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/demos.nsf/lookup/inoteswebaccessdemo and found that the problem is exactly the same.

Subject: Also seeing problem in 6.02 (inotes6 template), but
what I’ve found so far is:
going against the same mailfile, I almost never get the error to pop up using IE 6.0 SP1.
but can always get it to come up using
IE 5.5 SP2.
