Inotes Sametime

I am trying to get lotus inotes sametime to work…i can log into sametime through inotes but it only shows me online and no one else…i have followed the directions

I am not visible to others when it says im online either. So i have to believe its completely broken

Hi,

Can we please get more details about this environment.

What directory does Sametime authenticate with? (Native Domino, Domino LDAP or another ldap dir, AD, IDS etc.)
Can we get a screenshot of the awareness section of the iNotes configuration document?
as well as their notes.ini

Once we know the configuration is set up correctly, then I would do the following

  1. make sure SSO works correctly from iNotes to stcenter.nsf
  2. find out what the name of the WebSSO document is that sametime is using
  3. get java console debug:
    on the sametime server go to /lotus/domino/data/domino/html/sametime/stlinks
    backup the existing debugLevel.class
    copy debug/debugLevel.class.5 to the stlinks directory
    rename it to debugLevel.class

on the client where you are testing, delete all temp internet and jvm files (control panel – java)
reproduce the issue, and send us the java console to review.

Subject: For further diagnosis

Ctrl-Click on “IBM Lotus iNotes” logo and hit Detail button shows iNotes console, which shows some hints as to what iNotes and STLinks (the applet iNotes uses for Sametime integration) do under the hood. It also includes some info as to configuration. So providing the iNotes console output would help support problem to further diagnose the problem.
