Hi, we are having a very strange problem with inotes since a few days ago.
We have many sites, some connect throw lotus clients directly, others use inotes and validate throw a server in-site.
This people have IE 5.5 (long time ago) and now when they try to login, it asks for a user name and password, validates you, and start connecting, and there it stays, it never finish connecting (you cannot see anything else, neither welcome page, inbox, etc.)
We tried with other users with IE 6.0 and they also cannot connect.
We tried installing patch MS05-054 and now it connects. The thing is that nearly all ower PCs have IE 5.5, and there’s no MS05-054 for this IE version.
When we try connecting throw inotes with a user of that site throw another site (with IE 6 without this patch), it connects!
I really don’t understand what is happening, cause from this last weekend, people that have IE 5.5 could connect before, and now they can’t, and there where no updates for IE 5.5 that we applied.
This is very confusing, hope you understand.
Maybe someone changed something in the server, I really don’t know.
Are there any issues known lately with inotes and IE (with firefox it works great in the site).
We have Lotus Domino 6.5.3
