Hello,

I am trying to assign an internet password to someone. But the new password does not work until server is restarted. According to articles I read, restarting http task after password change should make new password active . But this advice does not work . New password is not active after restarting http.

Do you have any idea about this issue.

Subject: Refresh/Rebuild views

You could try rebuilding the People view in the directory, Shift F9 and then refresh all views in the directory, Ctrl-Shift-F9 then restart the HTTP server. Sometimes I’ve also flushed the database cache (dbcache flush) and it seemed to have an effect but I’m not convinced it was a causal(versus casual)relationship.
