iNotes option missing from "mail system" when registering user

I’ve looked all over the docs for this one…

I’ve installed http, email, default files, & DOLS as instructed for iNotes Web Access, but I never receive the option. Am I missing something?

Can someone offer some insight or perhaps direct me to a clear section on setting up iNotes?

Thanks!

Additional notes:

this is a clean install.

I have tried 6.0 and this is now 6.0.1

Thanks!

We just used the iNotes60.ntf file when creating a new user mail file and selected iNotes when creating user. If a user is already created, replace design with iNotes60.ntf.

Then we just access via:

http://servername/mail/mailfilename.nsf

Excuse my ignorance, but how do I “use the iNotes60.ntf file when creating a new user mail file”.

I don’t know where exactly to place this. Thanks for your help.

After much reading of the “Lotus Domino 6 for Linux” Redbook, I basically learned that you have to have your server registered as a CA before you can begin to register users at all.

To register, download the “Domino Administrator Client” and follow the steps as directed by the aformentioned RedBook.

Now to get the mail system setup…

Thanks, guys!

The iNotes mail system should be available in the user registration UI. When you select it, the iNotes60.ntf mail template will automatically be chosen. The iNotes mail system is a user registration value only and not a supported mail system in the person document.
