Hi all,
I have a customer that has problem with opening attachments using Internet Explorer on iNotes.
What happens is that a document link will be stored with full path to the file including “http://” + IP address + path to the nsf-file + view + filename encoded for special characters (e d space shows as “%20”) in the users “Recent documents”.
When the file name is quite long, this causes the file name Windows assigns it will be over 256 characters long, thus causing the profile for the user to be corrupt since the file put in “Recent documents” will be corrupted.
The customer runs a Citrix environment using roaming profiles. Each time this happens the network admin has to edit the users profile and remove the document link from the users “Recent documents”, then it works…
Anyone seeing this before? Any solutions out there? Would appreciate any hints…
Best Regards
Svante
