We upgraded to 8.5.1 recently. Now a particular client gets the new iNotes interface versus the older plain looking one. The new interface gives him the following error;
***A problem has occurred which may have caused the current operation to fail.
and a “loading Data” tab that never completes it’s operation.
This is with IE, FF or Chrome on both Win 7 and Mac OSX 10.6.4
The errors are slightly different based on use of FF or IE
IE- 08/19/2010 10:45:03AM ‘sId’ is null or not an object
FF- 08/19/2010 10:38:11AM WK is undefined
So two questions
- I’ve searched but can’t seem to find anything about this error specifically. I was thinking compatibility issues at first but it doesn’t work with any browser. Safari doesn’t show error but still has same tab with data loading and no buttons work when clicked.
Does anyone have any idea what in going on here?
- We have a test email on the server we use to monitor if the server is having problems with email. As a test I logged into that and got the old style interface and not the fancy new and it works perfectly.
He would prefer this interface style anyway, so if I could change it to that in the meantime he could access his email while we work out the issue. I can’t find any way to change that though. Does anyone know where to change that? I’ve looked in his mail prefs via Domino Admin but no luck.
