If a Desktop policy is enforced when a user authenticates with the server… does it consider the login/password that iNotes users perform to be an ‘authentication’ with the server? In other words… do the Desktop Policies (organizational policies) get applied to those that are only accessing iNotes mail from the browser?
Subject: probably not
The Notes client applies Desktop policies by first replicating them from the home server to the client’s personal address book using dynconfig. Most of these pieces have no equivalent in DWA. Plus, most of the desktop settings (welcome page, database links, preferences, etc.) seem to have been designed with the Notes client in mind.

It’s not exactly an “Organizational” policy if you can’t enforce it with the entire Organization… we need a solution for this.
