I have a user who accesses his mail using both the Notes 6.5.3 client from his PC, and the iNotes client when he does not have access to his office computer. If he sends mail to a listserver-maintained list from his PC, he has no problem. However, if he tries to send email to the same list using the iNotes client, his return address gets changed from the username@domainname format to username@DOMAINNAME. A small change, I admit, but since the listserver expects his address to be in all lowercase letters, all emails to listserver-managed groups fail when he sends from his iNotes client.
From where does the iNotes client pull the internet address of the user? I have checked his person document in the directory, and the address is correct (all lowercase.) I have not had any luck looking in the preferences section of the iNotes client, and I have just been informed that this user is not the only one experiencing this problem.
Can anyone direct me to the answer?
