Dear all,
i have a problem regarding iNotes 8.5.1 that cannot display attchment in my user email that use IE8. But when i try using Mozilla it is all ok.
Please all give me any suggestion… the error message said “Browser Cache Management fail to install”

Sounds that access to attachment is restricted unless Browser Cache Management is effective in IE. Browser Cache Management is for automatic deletion of browser caches when all IE instances are closed. If you don’t need that feature, you can turn it off by going to iNotes tab in server configuration document and change the corresponding setting.

Subject: not All IE8…but just one user
for your information, i forgot to mention that not all user have that problem and i thing it is none of domino server problem. it’s only effected to one user that cannot display his attachment in IE8 but it is okay with mozilla.
i notice that IE8 in vista get this problem, cause when i test with IE8 in XP it is okay.

One thing it’s worthwhile to try is putting dwabho.dll to %SYSTEMROOT%\System32 directory and running the following command:
regsvr32 dwabho.dll
If it’s successful, the “blocked” attachment coming from the failure to install Browser Cache Management will go away. You can find dwabho.dll in $DOMINODATA\domino\html directory.
