iNotes Calendar Invites

We have a user that cannot accept meeting invites in iNotes. We logged on as him onto our computer to rule out PC issues. He will open an invite, and then iNotes completely closes. You have to go through and open it again.

We have already run the database fixes on his mail database, to no avail.

Hi Megan,

If the issue is the meeting invitation itself (instead of entire iNotes or browser) being closed, it may be meeting updates (reschedules, updates in subject/location/body, etc.) associated with it. If it’s the case, Ctrl-Click on “IBM Lotus iNotes” logo and hitting Detail button shows detailed info as to what iNotes does under the hood. You can copy the content and paste it to Notepad, etc., which help support folks to further diagnose the problem. (Note: The log may contain personal info, like email address, mail signature, etc.)
