iNotes authentification works, same user with pop3 not work

On the same server, with the same user/password, I’m able to open an iNotes web access session but cannot open a POP3 session

what’s wrong

Did you change the password recently?

Run this command ‘show nlcache reset’

See if that helps.

Try with the email address, or a different username.

I suspect it could be something related to the login security (Fewer variations with more security)

Also, do you have Directory Assistance?

Using the e-mail address as the username solve the problem and yes I use a directory assistance.

I’m not sure why it’s working, but it is.

I asusme it’s something about the DA and it’s finding duplicates.

If that’s enough for you, use it that way. Othersise, I would start by disabling DA and trying again. But it could be something around that.
