Hello,
We currently have issues downloading attachments from mail while working in iNotes 8.5.1 with FireFox/Chrome or Safari.
We noticed that the issue is somewhere in IHS because if we browse directly to the Domino HTTP address it is working oke, only if we go through IHS all the content in Office documents is scrambled.
In IE it works ok in both situations.
Through IHS http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2677/4505508870_7ea74f4af9_o_d.png
Through Domino http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2723/4505508748_de6af12845_o_d.jpg
I think is has something to do with the Cache-control and the Encryption but I don’t have any
idea what I have to configure to get it right.
Anyone ?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Marco

Subject: Seems not a known symptom
Hi Marco,
I saw a appearently malformed HTTP header in your sceenshot, which may have caused the client not recognizing the content is gzip’ed while server sending out the content gzip’ed. This seems not a known symptom, and given that, I’d suggest opening a PMR with the following:
-
IHS configuration (httpd.conf)
-
plugin-cfg.xml
-
TRACE-level http_plugin.log that captures the incident (this shows us the response from the Application Server)
-
A binary, unformatted, unlimited length packet capture (same as attached in screenshot presumably)
-
IHS access.log error.log with LogLevel set to “debug” during the recreate
-
All relevant software levels (IHS, Plugin, Domino, ???)
Best regards,
