We’re having a problem adding attachments to an iNotes 8.5.1 message using Firefox 3.5.7.
Essentially, we can’t add an attachment to a message. When you click on the ‘add attachments’ icon in the attachments pane, it does nothing. We have the same behavior on WinXP and Vista.
Attachments work fine in IE and all other functions appear to work fine in Firefox. If you could point me in the right direction, I’d appreciate it.

that u didn’t install all java plugin’s inotes asks for in firefox, or maybe some policy blocking it.another thing may be that u’ve to refresh u’r Mailbox design on a newer template.

Clicking the Add Attachment icon opens the section at the bottom of the message. Then I can select and attach files.Environment is FF 3.5.7 on WinXP SP3 and Domino 8.5.1FP1

We have the same problem with iNotes 8.5.2 and the only work-around I’ve found is to use the IE Tab 2 firfox addon (free in online addons). This actually changes that-one-tab in firfox into an actual IE window. It works perfectly.
It is a wonder that IBM apparently did not test with Firefox, since is a much better / safer browser than IE! Someone will find it difficult to make ME believe this is not IBM’s problem.
