iNotes 7 Signature gotcha?

I’ve recently migrated my mail from a 6.5.4 environment to 7.0.2. I use iNotes/DWA to access my mail remotely. Since migrating to 7.0.2 I’ve noticed that new memos or replies result in a window that takes up the whole screen, whereas in 6.5.4 (and before) the window was much smaller.

Through testing I worked out the expansion is caused by the disclaimer under my signature, as entered in Tools → Preferences → Mail → Signature in iNotes. Here are 2 examples with results:

Disclaimer #1) Note: The information contained in this message and any attachment is confidential and intended only for the named recipient(s). If you are not a named recipient, you should not copy, distribute, nor use the information contained herein. If you have received this message in error, please contact the sender immediately by return email and destroy the original message.

Result #1) One long line, breaking on the “(” of “recipient(s)”, followed another much longer line from the “(” to the end of the disclaimer

Disclaimer #2) As above, but without the brackets in “recipients”

Result #2) One very long line

The iNotes window ends up sizing as the length of the longest disclaimer line, so when you type a memo, the text and window tends to scroll to the right.

Okay, so I could use the new iNotes disclaimer functionality in the server config doc, but testing of the format doesn’t produce the desired result. And in any case, I’ve been using this format of disclaimer quite happily since R5.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I have searched the forum, but can’t find a similar post.
