We want to setup our usual architecture for iNotes , too. The 1st idea was:
browser --(HTTPS)–> reverse proxy
reverse proxy --(HTTP)–> pass thru
pass thru --(Notes protocoll)–> mail servers
The admin help says: no pass thru with http.
So perhaps that might do the job:
browser --(HTTPS)–> reverse proxy
reverse proxy --(HTTP)–> protocoll translation
protocoll translation --(Notes)–>pass thru
pass thru --(Notes)–> mail servers
Is this a realizable way? We want to have a reverse proxy and at least one other machine between the browsers and the mail servers.
