Went up on Domino 6.0 in Dec - and now on 6.0.1on the ieseries.
My mail file was originally Inotes5.
When I upgraded to R6, I converted it to mail60.ntf. It wouldn’t ‘hold’ the template change — some mornings, it would be in V5 format - I’d check through administrator and it was back to either inotes5 or mail5 template.
Now under 6.0.1, with inotes6, sometimes it removes the soft delete, LZ1 compression, etc.
I ran a fixup on the database and it didn’t fix anything.

DaleDo you have your mail file on Clustered servers.
If yes then check the Database property on the clustered server copy of the mail file for ‘Inherit Design from Template’. Make sure it has the same property as the primary mail file.

Not a clustered server - The file is on a single AS400.

I’m having the exact same problem, and have had a ticket open with Support for some time now. No answers. It’s extremely frustrating and is hampering our upgrade to 6.5. Any progress?
