When I change a notes.ini parameter/value in the server configuration document and save the document, the values look fine in the view, when opening the configuration document again the values are set back to previous setting.The server is running in controler mode on Linux 32 bit, admin client on Vista 32 bit.
Domino is running as user ‘notes’, user and group ‘notes’ have read/write access to the notes.ini on the server.

The server is 8.5 for Linux.NAB is also 8.5 (02-11-2008) ods 51:0.
The values are correct before saving, after saving it’s back to what is was. Seems it is also for the server configuration document itself. The last changed date/time is correct, but changes are not saved.
Note:
After some testing it looks like it only happens when both the client and administrator are running and the Domino Directory is opened, so it’s not a problem anymore, just a nice to know thing…
