Inherit Template with minor ODS

Is it posible to:1) Made a New replica of a DB with ODS 41

  1. Compact the Recient Replicate DB with ODS 43

  2. Still Inherit design from a Template with ODS 41 (while now the DB is ODS 43)

?

If I understand your question correctly, the answer is “yes”.

A database does not “care” about the ODS of the template it inherits its design from. If you look at your data folder, most templates out of the box are still at ODS 20.
