An old error seems to have “revived” in 8.5.1 (and maybe in other Notes 8 versions). When accessing a Personal On First Use (POFU) view/folder I get the error “Index it not to be generated on server” if the user’s copy of the view/folder does not yet exist.
The solution is to create your own “getView” function (like in R6). Discussion and solution can be found in Notes/Domino 6 Forum. If someone’s interested in my getView Function, I can post it.
