Incorrect search results

I have a database with approx 20,000 documents. When I construct a search query against a view via the web, the totalHits field returns the correct number of results but what is actually displayed in the results view is often incorrect. I’ve found that rebuilding the full text index fixes the problem but it appears again within a few hours.

Often it’s only documents that have been recently added or modified that show in the results.

Searching worked fine for 2 years while the database was on an r5 server but ever since upgrading to Domino 6 results have been inconsistent.

I am experiencing the same problem with R6. The TotalHits, Hits, Start, and Count fields are behaving inconsistently. For example, the initial search would show 183 results, but as I move to the next page, the count and total results changes.

I will try rebuilding the index.
