Incorrect argument type - string expected Datetime field

Here is the code below

It is blowing up when I am trying to change the date field to today’s date (SEE BELOW). It seems like it is expecting string so I tried setting a variable to convert to a string but that didn’t work. Any help would be great

when you use notesuidocument method like fieldsettext you put every time a string, try to do your statement with notesuidoc.document and manage the notesfield, but the better way is to use formula to that in my point of view
