Incompatability with Office 2003

We’ve been running Notes release 6.5.3 for over a moth without any significant issues until this week when some of our staff had to have their MS Office suite upgraded from XP (2002) Pro or 2000 Pro to 2003 Pro.The Notes installations on these machines now crash up to 15 times a day. The error is the same Nlnotes.exe caused an access violation.

The effected OS’s are Windows 2000 SP3/XP SP1.

The only real cure I’ve found so far is to roll back Notes to 6.5.0.

Has anyone else seen similar issues?

I’ve now found that rolling back to 6.5.0 on Windows XP machines doesn’t do anything, Notes still crashes when Word 2003 is open.
