I have a Notes application, that was created with Notes 6.5.3 and some changes later with Notes 7. All users tell, that their clients crash. Not every day, but often. Some days 1 or two crashes, some days 15 crashes, some days no crash. There are many different situations, that let the client crash. Some crashes after clicking a button (Formula @Command([Compose];“Memo”)), but not every time the button is clicked. Some crashes after running a script, open an attachment… NSD files are NOT created. I tried to use the application with the same Notes Release and it happend. The client crashed (really fast) and there are no NSD files. Can anybody help? I have no idea…
It looks like the client crashes if a document in an embedded view is focused and the user clicks a button or wants to open an attachment…
The problem exists about one year. We recompiled lots of times. I found out, that the client crashes every time a docoment is open, the focus is set into the embedded view and after that, the user does anything in the main document (like click a button, open an attachment…)
I have an application with an embedded view and an embedded form. The users have never complained about an issue like you describe. I am sure that they will at some stage have selected a document in the embedded view and doing something on the main document (filling in a field or pressing a button).
Is it possible to send a copy of your db wth only the relevant parts?
