Inbox view Meters with new mail *** very usefull *

I try to explain what I want to do .In templates mail V6, we can see when a new mail arrive a meter with parenthese which give the number of new mail arrive, for example

Inbox ( 10 ) -

Folder ( 2)

In V5 template, there is no this function in V5.

I would like to create add this function in template V5. HoW to do ?

it could be very usefull for my users to have this meter because some users create rules to move directly the mail in the folder. so with this meter in which folders (5) , they can see if new mail is arrive in the folder whithin see in folders …
