Inbox View gets sorted after reply or forward?

I have a few users who are running R6.

Every time he forwards or replies to an email from the inbox - the inbox gets sorted alphabetically when he gets back to it.

It does not happen when he simply views a message.

Is this a setting or preference somewhere?

Please help.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I have several users whose Inbox views are being sorted alphabetically at random intervals.

We’ve had this happen to a few users as well. In each case, it was due to having their Inbox showing on their welcome page. Once we picked a welcome page that didn’t show their Inbox, the random resorting stopped.

The reason for the re-sorting isn’t the use of the Inbox on the Welcome page per se. It’s the fact that the sort being used on the Welcome page view of the Inbox is different to the one in the full screen view. Because they are essentially two different views of the same thing, Notes tries to keep them in synch, and the Welcome page version is the first one opened, so it gets used as the default.

So every time the user does something that refreshes the view Notes realigns the sort to the one on the Welcome page.

If the user wants it to stop doing this, then change the sort chosen on the Welcome page view.
