Here’s a strange Catch 22 - and a common one from R4->R5 if I remember correctly…
Question 1 -In upgrading the mail file, If you leave the checkmark OFF of the folder’s design property (Prohibit design replace/refresh to modify) then the Inbox is supposed to be replaced with the new mail template’s design, yes? But if you checkmark it… it keeps the old look. So we made sure it was UNcheckmarked… and it didn’t replace the colors in the Inbox (Green… should be lt blue)but ONLY in the Inbox. All other views updated fine.
2nd question - if you remove the checkmarks on User Created Folders, the folders get deleted by the Replace, if you leave them checkmarked, they saty Green… so HOW do you update folders?
