Is there a size or number limit to what can be displayed on the “inbox” view? I have a user that sees only documents up to March of 2008. So about a year’s worth of email. The documents can be seen if you go to the All Docs view and they show up in no other folders. Just curious as to whether or not it’s not able to display them all? There are about 4780 documents in the inbox, and about 16400 documents in the All Docs view.

The only explanation I can think of for the difference is that the inbox is folder as opposed to a view (like “All Documents”). This means a user can remove documents from the inbox by doing a move to folder or remove from folder. Other things the user could do to is have rule that moves documents out of the inbox or possibly use Switfile to file there documents.
Views are built on selection formulas. The documents cannot be removed by the user unless they delete it from the application or change the formula.
NOTE: I have an test inbox with 21,794 documents.
