SPR# MCHT48WKHE reintroduced?
fixed in 5.0.2:
Fix a problem which caused the denial of all SMTP mail to the local internet domain if there was an entry in
the Server Configuration document, Router/SMTP–>Restrictions and Controls–>SMTP Inbound Controls under Inbound Relay Controls, "Allow messages from external internet domains to be sent only to the following internet domains: DOMAIN.COM
I have got exactly the same problem with Domino 6.0.1 CF1, whereas i have more than one domain (all are internal) defined, separated by semicolons, where any host can relay to. The other three fields on this form are not used.
Network Associates Webshield listens on port 25 and passes checked mails on port xxxx, where Domino SMTP is waiting.
These settings did work fine for a while, but today no inbound smtp mail was routed anymore. I could fix it by putting the the server´s ip in the field “Allow messages only from the following external internet hosts to be sent to external internet domains”.
Inbound mails were routed nicely after that, clearing this field ten minutes later did domino not prevent still route inbound smtp as desired.
Can anyone help me understand this strange behaviour?
