Hi,i have a problem with inbound email address format. Example:
Email sender: name.surname@domain.com
Destination: mio.nome@azienda.it
In lotus notes client, when i receive this mail, i read:
To: “mio.nome” mio.nome@azienda.it
From: “name.surname@domain.com” name.surname@domain.com
The message work, but why in address show slidebar "" ? How remove it?

We had the same problem in my company.I don’t know if u noticed, but some ISP’s can not REPLY to the Sender when it appears like that.
What we did u go to the User in administrator and under NICK NAME u add the email address. Name.surname@company.com

Hi Galya,this anomaly occours in inbound email only. If i send mail to WWW (ex to hotmail address) the recipient receive it correctly and he can reply without problem.

Sorry for not being clear enough Cristiano. If u open your Domino Administrator and click on the first tab People/group- People it will show you all of your users.Then we select a user with double click and under the Basic Tab u will see Short name/User ID(not Nick name-Sorry) Make sure that the first entry is the user ID up to 8 characters as normal , and add a second entry with the email address
We had just couple of users experiencing this problem and this worked for us
