Inactive Users & Server Performance

By the nature of our business, we have to create many users on a daily basis and many of them use notes for few days and then they become inactive. I have been doing lot of cleanup but that takes time and I have other tasks with higher priorities.

The question is how these inactive users are effecting Domino Server’s Performance?. Are they a big burden?

If their effect is negligible then I will not touch them till I find time to address them.

I don’t have an issue with the diskspace. Got planety.

Hello,

If by inactive you are implying users who have records in the Domino Directory? If this is the case, there should be no performance overhead as these users simply have a document stored in your directory.

Thanks. They are users who have mailboxes and person docs, etc like any other user but they don’t use as most of them left or simply don’t need to use it.
