I have just started experimenting with in-view editing and like it very much. The only problem I’m having is that after I modify a value in a view column, the view always refreshes and puts me back at the top. I’m just using the example code so far, so nothing fancy in my routine.
Can anyone tell me if this is avoidable and if so, how? It would be very cumbersome for my users to have to scroll down to where they were every time they make a change. The idea of in-view editing is supposed to make it easy to modify records quickly so I’m sure there’s just something I’m overlooking.
BTW, my choices on the view properties second tab at the bottom are; On Open - Go to last opened document, and On Refresh - Display indicator.
Thanks,
Beth
