I have a view which has a “Year” category. Then on the post open I have the following formula:@Command([ViewCollapseAll])
I would like to also add something that will expand a predetermined year I specify, so something like this would be the final result of what I am trying to accomplish:
@Command([ViewCollapseAll]);
@Command([GoToCategory];“2006”);
@Command([ViewExpand])
How would I do this - I cant find anything in the help or on this forum?
Subject: RE: SOLUTION: In Client, Collapse All then Goto Category & Expand - Formula
You’re welcome. Great thinking to use @ViewTitle instead of hard coding the view name. Likewise, you could take it a step further and compute the current year rather than hard coding “2006.”

Thanks! Its already in place. :o) @Text(@Year(@Today))
My orginal thought was it would slow down the view (as most date/time calculations have in views), but when I tried it didnt slow it down at all. Woot!
Thanks again for your out-of-the box thinking, I would have never thought to use the [openview] command again!
