I’ve done few seach in this forum and nothing about having a process for each lotus application.
You probably know that almost any new computer has at least 2 core by cpu, so it can handle multiple process simultaneously.
Why not having a process for each lotus application. Like a process for the Lotus Designer, one for Lotus Administrator and one for Louts Notes?
You know that when you launch an agent that will take a few secondes or few minutes in notes, you may want to work in the administrator or designer.
The best will be like Google Chrome, having a thread for each tab,
but this may become crazy,
it can be better to have a process by database open in notes?
So when I run this agent in a database or whatever that take times for any reason, I can still read my email and work.
Multi-thread is not the futur… it’s was the futur 2 years ago… now we want multi-threaded software !
Just a thought among others…
