I have a problem importing my ID file into my mail.
This isn’t a company wide issue, others can do this, but I’ve tried on multiple PCs with different browsers so it’s not a PC thing either
When I import the ID file it seems to work fine, and tells me my ID file is imported successfully. If I just close the preferences and re-open it then says my mailfile doesn’t contain an ID

The first place you might want to look at is a profile note in your mail DB. If your Notes ID has successfully been attached to your mail DB, there should be a profile note named $shimmerid. Searching for $shimmerid in below page will provide you with more info:
Also, if you click on “IBM Lotus iNotes” logo and then click on Detail button, you’ll see a console showing what iNotes does under the hood. Search for BuL in config info section. If you see “true” there, it means that iNotes core client code recognised your Notes ID attached to your mail DB.
