Importing from Excel

Hi All,

I need your assistance. I would like to import an Excel file to a Lotus Notes form, however the Excel file has several sheets I like to import. I only need to import several columns per sheet to the lotus form. In column A of each sheet is the docid of the document and row 1 is the header, which I would like to ignore so the import would start from row 2.

For example my form is called ‘Sales’ and in the Excel sheet1, column F and G has the data I would like to import and column A has the docid. Column F is the equivalent of the field Sales and column G is the equivalent of field SalesDate. Both fields belong to the Sales form.

Could anyone assist with this? Your help is appreciated.

Thanks.

There are many, many examples of how to do this in this forum. A search for ‘Excel and Import’ yields several hundred results.

Anyway if you want a simple to use tool you can freely download our ‘Lotus Notes / Domino Import Utility’ which supports importing from Excel. The link is:
