I am looking for help or info about importing DXL, specifically how to format/parse the info into rich text fields. I have downloaded some DXL samples in the Sandbox, as well as gone through the chapters about XML in the Lotus Notes and Domino Programming Bible. However, these samples have not demonstrated what I am looking for.
We need to import data into a rich text field and have the text formatted during the process (such as bold, bullets, tables, etc). Part of my testing involved EXPORTING the DXL out of Notes so I could view the DXL tags Notes would generate for rich text properties. However, when I tried to import the same DXL document back into Notes, the database didn’t know what to do with rich text tags.
I came across a bunch of information about exporting DXL, but less for importing and parsing rich text properties. Can anyone point me to some informatioin or samples that specifically deal with importing information for rich text? So far I have not found what I am looking for in the forum. Any info you can provide to steer me in the right direction would be great.
